Subaru Uncharted under evaluation for New Zealand market
Subaru New Zealand is evaluating the introduction of the all-new Subaru Uncharted, the brand's latest battery electric vehicle, for the New Zealand market.
As Subaru continues its electrification journey globally, Uncharted combines electric performance with the capability, practicality and confidence that Subaru customers have come to expect. While New Zealand availability has yet to be confirmed, the Unchartered is currently under consideration as part of Subaru New Zealand's future product plans.
Overseas specifications highlight Subaru's commitment to delivering a capable and versatile electric SUV. The Uncharted features Subaru's renowned Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, powered by dual electric motors producing a combined 252kW. Energy is supplied by a high-capacity 74.7kWh CATL battery, delivering a targeted driving range of up to 522km (WLTP).1
The Unchartered is also expected to offer DC fast charging from 10-80% in approximately 30 minutes2, acceleration from 0-100km/h in around five seconds3, and 211mm of ground clearance4, reinforcing Subaru's reputation for confidence on a variety of road conditions and terrains. Practicality is further enhanced through Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, providing access to a 220V/1500W power outlet for powering external devices and equipment.
Inchcape New Zealand General Manager Paul Mallard says: "Subaru Uncharted represents an exciting addition to Subaru's growing global electrified line-up and demonstrates the brand's ongoing commitment to delivering vehicles that combine capability, safety and everyday usability.”
While no announcement can be made now regarding local timing, specification or pricing, Subaru New Zealand is inviting customers interested in learning more about the Subaru Uncharted to register their interest.
