The best bits of the Greatest Outback of all time

Outback Touring nappa leather tan interior

Outback Design

Every new Subaru Outback has been designed to include the creature comforts so you can enjoy the journey every day.

Spacious Comfort
The high-end interior boasts improved all round visibility, stylish stitching on the seat cushions and Nappa leather seats available in Black, Ivory or Tan in the Touring models, plus 10-way driver and 8-way passenger electric adjustable front seats. Cabin seating has been refined and expanded with more shoulder, elbow, waist, head and rear legroom. Creature comforts include quick control dual zone climate control air conditioning, front and rear cup holders, and improved armrest cushioning.

Spacious Boot Space
The more spacious cabin evolves into an enviable cargo space with split fold rear seats. In Outback X and Touring models, family shopping trips and school drop offs are effortless with the Outback’s rear powered tailgate with hands-free sensor. Plus the programmable memory height function can be set to suit spaces with a low clearance or accommodate longer roof mounted items.

Bold Exterior Styling
A sporty on-road presence, sleek exterior and rounded body mouldings mark the Outback as better, braver and bolder. New design dynamics are evident in the distinctive alloy wheels, larger sunroof, hawk-eye headlights, LED front fog lights and classic Subaru hexagonal grille, which all hint at its brooding energy. Outback’s powerful and distinctive appeal is further highlighted by a new rear spoiler and roof rails with integrated crossbars, designed for active families with all the gear.

Outback Safety

Safety Features

The Outback has safety covered. With 8 airbags, the 4th generation EyeSight clever crash avoidance technology with twice the field of vision along with a Driver Monitoring System that can detect distraction or drowsiness, and personalisation features for the Touring model, it’s the safest Outback ever made.

EyeSight® Driver Assist System

EyeSight® is a second pair of eyes that monitor the road ahead and recognise potentially dangerous driving situations. Using three dimensional images captured by cameras mounted at the top of the windscreen, EyeSight® provides audible and visual warnings to prompt the driver to take action. EyeSight® will also apply automatic braking intervention, when necessary, to help avoid or reduce the severity of a detected frontal collision.

Boxer Engine

The Boxer engine sits low in the engine bay to help reduce the risk of injury to occupants by sliding below the cabin – not into it - in the event of a severe frontal collision.

Rear View Reverse Camera

Every New Outback features a rear view reverse camera as standard. The new, ultra-wide angle camera provides an improved rear field of vision to help reduce the risk of collisions with surrounding objects.
