Technology

The Subaru XV is packed with innovative high-tech connectivity including, a multi-function display unit and intuitive controls. All delivering functionality that frees you up to have more fun.

At the core of the smart new Subaru XV is an 8-inch LCD touch screen, which also includes Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ when compatible phones are connected.

The 2.0i Premium also features integrated Satellite Navigation system with Traffic.

Eyes in the back of your head

Because sometimes you really just need an extra pair of eyes watching out for you. The rear view reverse camera is standard on all XV variants for full visibility and control while parking or reversing. The 2.0i Premium model also features Reverse Automatic Braking, which applies the brakes if something is detected while you are reversing to help you avoid a potential collision.

Multi-Function Display unit (MFD)

The XV displays all the important driving information in one place with the simple Mulit-Function Display unit (MFD). With a 6.3" LCD screen above the centre console, you can view the fuel economy and journey information, air-condititioning, auto stop start information, outside temperature, EyeSight® information and much more.

Technology designed for you

Automatic windows and power folding mirrors are both adjustable from the door switch panel, while the eight-way power driver’s seat on the XV 2.0i Premium will have you sitting pretty for the long journeys ahead.

With an auxiliary jack and USB connection handy in the front centre console, playing your own music or charging your devices has never been easier. And now with Apple Car Play™ and Android Auto™ for compatible devices, being connected is easier than ever.

EyeSight® Driver Assist System

EyeSight® is a second pair of eyes that monitor the road ahead and recognise potentially dangerous driving situations. Using three dimensional images captured by cameras mounted at the top of the windscreen, EyeSight® provides audible and visual warnings to prompt the driver to take action. EyeSight® will also apply automatic braking intervention, when necessary, to help avoid or reduce the severity of a detected frontal collision.

Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and X-Mode

All New Zealand new Subarus feature Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive as standard, which spreads the driving force across all four wheels meaning greater control. X-Mode is a standard feature on the Subaru XV, which helps to reduce potential wheel slip on slippery surfaces or steep inclines when navigating off road situations.
